Job Title: HVAC Senior Project Manager
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects from inception to completion. We are a fast-growing mechanical contractor. We need a top performer who can help take us to the next level. Our culture is key, and we require everyone to be part of the team.

Duties:

  • Manage commercial HVAC projects
  • Interact with customers, GC’s, vendors and subcontractors
  • Organize, file and track all project coordination and correspondence both digitally and in hard files.
  • Schedule and manage subcontractors and company field personnel
  • Issue vendor and subcontractor PO’s
  • Review, formalize and approve documentation for the successful tracing of projects, including submittals, schedules, schedule of values, billing, request for information, requests for change orders, change orders and project start-up and close out.
  • Manage work sequences, long lead items, procurement and project schedules
  • Manage testing, permits and inspection records
  • Generate all RFI’s
  • Finalize all Change Orders
  • Track project schedules to ensure all deadlines are being met.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Visit job sites on a regular basis, attend all job walks and/or meetings at job site with clients
  • Manage all day to day operations through coordination with Admin and Supers
  • Set up equipment release schedule
  • Coordinate all deliveries, crane schedules and returns from job sites
  • Coordinate with GC Superintendent for all on-site requirements
  • Resolve all technical issues

Requirements:

  • Three-year minimum HVAC Project Management experience
  • Commercial HVAC and mechanical experience a must have
  • Ability to read mechanical plans
  • Ability to lead and motivate
  • Experience with projects from $2,000 to $500,000
  • Highly motivated, detailed and professional
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with COO, office staff, subcontractors and vendors
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Effectively solve problems
  • Computer skills including MS Word, Excel and preferably experience with a project management software, i.e. Procore
