Job Title: HVAC Estimator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HVAC Estimator to join our Special Projects Division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for specialized projects. This role is crucial in supporting our division’s growth by ensuring precise budgeting and fostering client confidence.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine HVAC system requirements and prepare detailed cost estimates.

Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for accurate estimations.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project scopes and deliverables.

Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.

Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals, including labor, materials, equipment, and other associated costs.

Maintain and update cost databases and estimation software to reflect current market trends and pricing.

Ensure all estimates comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC estimating, particularly in commercial or industrial projects.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices.

Experience with estimation software (e.g., ProEst, Quickpen) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
