Job Title: Mechanical Service Sales Manager
This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with strong leadership abilities and deep knowledge of mechanical systems, service contracts, and solution-based selling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead, manage, and mentor a team of service account executives to achieve sales targets and gross margin goals.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the mechanical service customer base, including preventive maintenance, retrofit projects, and service agreements.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of proposals, ensuring accurate scopes, pricing, and value propositions.
- Collaborate with service operations, estimating, and project teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to execution.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline through CRM tools and consistent prospecting.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Ensure all sales activities are aligned with company goals, safety protocols, and customer satisfaction standards.
- Report financial, sales and project performance to VP of MEP Services.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC or mechanical service sales, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven ability to lead a sales team and consistently meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, mechanical maintenance, and retrofit solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
