Position Overview
As an HVAC Project Manager in Houston, you will oversee and coordinate diverse HVAC projects—from new construction and commercial refrigeration to service and retrofit work. You will ensure timely and high-quality project delivery while aligning with our commitment to excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight: Manage HVAC installations and service projects (new construction, retrofit, maintenance, and commercial refrigeration) from planning through closeout.

Scheduling & Coordination: Supervise sub-contractors, on-site crews, and field staff, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Estimating & Documentation: Review and support centralized estimating, manage AutoCAD renderings and as-builts, scope demolition, ductwork balancing, chilled water piping, hoisting, and system commissioning tasks.

Quality & Compliance: Ensure all projects meet building code compliance, safety standards, and internal quality benchmarks.

Operations & Maintenance Integration: Oversee maintenance agreements, filter services, controls upgrades (Wi-Fi thermostats, BAS systems), and warranty or repair services.

Client Relationship & Satisfaction: Act as the project liaison, ensuring effective communication, high customer satisfaction, and project continuity.
Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years in HVAC project management, especially in commercial construction and service.

Technical Acumen: Strong background in HVAC systems installation, maintenance, and repair—including chillers, rooftop units, split systems, refrigeration, duct systems, and control upgrades.

Software Skills: Competency with project management tools and familiarity with AutoCAD for renderings and as-built documentation.

Leadership: Proven ability to direct field crews, sub-contractors, and multi-site operations.

Problem-Solving: Strong organizational skills with the ability to think on your feet in fast-paced environments.

Communication: Excellent ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
