Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to lead business development efforts in the Building Automation Systems (BAS) space. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through intelligent building solutions—including HVAC controls, energy management systems, and IoT-enabled platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, institutional, and industrial markets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with facility managers, engineers, contractors, and decision makers.

Conduct client presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.

Sales Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

Negotiate pricing and terms while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

Technical Collaboration

Work closely with design engineers and project managers to ensure proposed solutions align with client requirements.

Stay current on BAS technologies including HVAC controls, lighting automation, access control, and energy analytics.

Market Intelligence

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams to enhance offerings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3–5 years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or related technical sales.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong understanding of BAS platforms (e.g., Trane, Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
