Job Description: 

We are seeking an Experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of commercial HVAC construction. Candidate must have excellent organizational skills & communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a team player.

Job Duties

  • Manage the overall HVAC job scope on small and larger-scale commercial projects ($5M).
  • Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor purchase orders and evaluate submittals to reflect contract drawing and specifications.
  • Work with general contractors and job foremen to determine scheduling needs and provide relevant job information to ensure efficient field production.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Overseeing the execution of all work, including quality and production and ensuring that the crew works to job specifications.
  • Provide follow up and closeout documents for completed jobs.
  • Other tasks as required to ensure sound completion of projects that are assigned to you.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • (3-5) or more years of experience in project or program management, ideally in the commercial installation space
  • Candidate must be capable of working in a team environment, participate in technical activities throughout the development life cycle of the project, and maintain a close technical involvement with all contributing developmental organizations.
  • Experience working with project management methodology including budget development, project planning, project management software and finance/accounting concepts and practices.
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects simultaneously to keep projects on course.
  • Ability to simply the communications of complex projects to effectively convey task assignments, milestones, work breakdown structures, and critical paths.
  • Skill in demonstrating excellence through inclusion, teamwork, collaboration, knowledge transfer/training, and positive working relationships.
  • High level of proficiency of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and customers.
