Job Title: Building Automation Account Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Building Automation Account Manager to join our team. This role focuses on selling plan/spec projects within the building automation sector. The ideal candidate will manage a small book of existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts and key stakeholders.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new plan/spec project opportunities within the territory.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and bids for building automation solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, and project management) to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Achieve first-year sales volume of $500,000 – $1,000,000.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or related technical sales.
- Strong understanding of plan/spec project processes and bidding cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
