About the Role
The HVAC Owner Direct Sales Representative is responsible for developing and growing direct relationships with building owners, property managers, developers, and facility decision-makers throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth market. This role focuses on selling HVAC construction, replacement, retrofit, service, and preventative maintenance solutions by acting as a trusted advisor and long-term mechanical partner.

This position is ideal for a driven, consultative sales professional who understands complex HVAC systems, thrives in a relationship based sales environment, and is motivated by uncapped earning potential in one of the fastest growing commercial construction markets in the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and expand owner direct relationships across commercial and industrial clients in the DFW market
  • Identify, pursue, and close HVAC construction, retrofit, service, and preventative maintenance opportunities
  • Develop strategic account plans targeting building owners, developers, healthcare systems, data centers, manufacturers, and property management firms
  • Conduct site visits, facility assessments, and client discovery meetings to identify mechanical needs and long-term opportunities
  • Partner with estimating, engineering, project management, and service teams to develop accurate, competitive proposals
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution and client handoff
  • Maintain a healthy and measurable sales pipeline aligned with annual revenue goals
  • Track sales activity, forecasts, and opportunities using CRM tools
  • Represent the organization at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
  • Stay informed on HVAC technologies, energy efficient solutions, code requirements, and local market trends

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC or mechanical sales within commercial or industrial markets
  • Proven success selling owner direct HVAC construction, service, or maintenance solutions
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical construction processes, and service agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-term client relationships and close complex, high-value deals
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the DFW metroplex

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Experience selling design-build or turnkey mechanical solutions
  • Existing relationships with building owners, developers, or property management firms in North Texas
  • Experience selling into healthcare, data centers, manufacturing, education, or other mission critical facilities
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales pipeline management
