Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Manager to lead complex, multi-million-dollar commercial HVAC construction projects. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who understands the full lifecycle of large-scale mechanical projects—from early estimating and planning through execution and closeout—while owning the client relationship and sales strategy throughout. This is a high-impact role working directly with general contractors and key decision-makers on some of the most complex projects in our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

Own and grow a book of business focused on large commercial HVAC construction projects

Lead the full sales cycle, including opportunity qualification, estimating coordination, proposal development, and contract negotiation

Map the company’s sales process to the customer’s buying process to drive predictable outcomes

Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, brokers, property managers, and building owners

Collaborate closely with project management and engineering teams to ensure accurate scoping, pricing, and execution

Educate and challenge customers on project needs versus assumptions, ensuring best-fit technical solutions

Carry and consistently achieve a defined revenue quota on multi-million-dollar projects
Required Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial construction sales

Direct experience selling large-scale commercial HVAC projects

Proven background working with general contractors on complex, multi-phase construction jobs

Deep understanding of estimating, bidding, project planning, and construction workflows

Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and large deal values

Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage weekly sales activities independently
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in design-build HVAC construction environments

Background as a sales engineer or project manager prior to moving into sales

Established relationships with regional or national GCs, brokers, or building operators
