Job Title: Building Automation Systems Technician
Location: Greater Dallas, TX Area
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Install, and commission BAS systems for HVAC, lighting, and central plant applications
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair control system issues across multiple environments
- Integrate BAS systems for real-time monitoring and control
- Perform system upgrades, expansions, and retrofits
- Conduct site visits, system testing, and performance validation
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver customized solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation including system drawings, sequences of operation, and service reports
- Provide customer training for system usage and optimization
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally across Dallas-Fort Worth
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and controls
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering, Controls, or related field
- Experience with Automated Logic, WebCTRL, BACnet, or other BAS platforms (preferred for entry-level, required for experienced candidates)
- Previous field service or commissioning experience
