Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated BAS Install Technician to join our growing building automation team in the Oklahoma City market. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, wiring, commissioning, and supporting Building Automation Systems that control HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems across commercial and industrial facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Install BAS control panels, field devices, sensors, actuators, and associated low-voltage wiring
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, control diagrams, and BAS schematics
- Mount controllers, conduit, and devices according to project specifications and local codes
- Perform point-to-point checkout and assist with system startup and commissioning
- Troubleshoot installation issues, wiring problems, and device communication faults
- Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and mechanical contractors on-site
- Document work completed and report progress or issues to the project team
- Follow all safety policies, jobsite procedures, and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience installing BAS, HVAC controls, or low-voltage control systems
- Ability to read and understand control drawings and electrical schematics
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, sensors, and control devices
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites in and around Oklahoma City
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BAS platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Schneider Electric
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Trade school, technical degree, or formal controls training
- Prior experience on commercial or industrial construction sites
