Role Overview
This position is designed for a versatile professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats. You will support projects from initial engineering through field execution, making this an ideal role for someone who values technical variety and end-to-end project involvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer and design building automation systems, including control drawings and documentation
- Program building automation systems from scratch
- Support field installation, startup, testing, and commissioning
- Troubleshoot system, network, and integration issues
- Collaborate with project managers and service teams during execution
- Support system integration and preventive maintenance strategies
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in building automation, controls engineering, or BAS field work
- Hands-on experience with BAS programming and field operations
- Working knowledge of Niagara Framework
- Ability to independently execute technical project tasks
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tridium Niagara and Visio based control drawings
- Niagara N4 Certification (Basic or Advanced)
- Ability to perform both design/engineering and on-site technical work
- Experience in commercial, institutional, municipal, or industrial environments
