Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Building Automation Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of integrated control solutions across commercial and industrial facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-performance, cost-effective systems that enhance building efficiency, occupant comfort, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end building automation projects, including new construction and retrofit initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Systems Integration: Oversee the design, installation, commissioning, and optimization of building control systems, including HVAC, lighting, metering, and facility management platforms.
- Client Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, satisfaction, and long-term partnership development.
- Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain quality control and accountability.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure systems are user-friendly, scalable, and aligned with energy conservation goals and operational efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry advancements through ongoing training and research, applying best practices to enhance project outcomes.
- Data & Analytics: Utilize tools for multisite data aggregation, custom dashboards, and cloud-based monitoring to drive performance insights and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or systems integration.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
- Familiarity with energy conservation strategies, commissioning practices, and cloud-based facility systems.
- Technical proficiency in automation platforms and control systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
