Job Title: BAS Sales Manager

Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven BAS (Building Automation Systems) Sales Manager to lead and expand sales efforts in the Tampa market. This individual will drive revenue growth, develop a strong project pipeline, and build lasting client relationships across commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate thrives in a consultative sales environment and brings a strong understanding of building automation systems, energy management, and integrated building technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Required:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve annual revenue targets (typically $5M–$10M+ territory goals).
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in BAS, HVAC controls, and energy solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, facility managers, engineers, and property owners.
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, needs analysis, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting within CRM systems.
- Represent the organization at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.
Preferred:
- Mentor or support junior sales representatives or account managers.
- Assist with regional marketing strategies and brand awareness initiatives.
- Utilize energy analytics or ROI modeling to strengthen proposals and presentations.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in BAS, HVAC controls, or building technology sales.
- Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong technical knowledge of building automation systems (HVAC controls, IoT integration, energy management).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel locally within the Tampa area.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working with leading BAS platforms (e.g., Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, Trane).
- Existing relationships within the Tampa commercial construction or facilities market.
- Leadership or team mentoring experience.
