Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Technician to support new installations, system retrofits, and ongoing service of building automation systems for commercial customers. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, programming, and commissioning advanced HVAC control systems while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
What You Will Be Doing
- Install new and retrofit building automation and HVAC control systems for commercial facilities
- Service, diagnose, and troubleshoot existing building automation systems
- Program, modify, and commission HVAC control systems using graphical programming tools
- Support system startup, testing, and verification to ensure proper operation
- Identify and maximize lead opportunities while maintaining a goal of 100% work satisfaction
- Participate in in-house and factory training programs to stay current with technology
- Follow all company safety standards and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical challenges efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of HVAC controls or control automation experience
- Experience creating and modifying building automation controllers using graphical programming tools
- Strong understanding of HVAC control theory and control concepts
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Thorough understanding of LonWorks, BACnet, and Modbus communication protocols
- Proven ability to commission and troubleshoot systems using these protocols, including software, configuration, and wiring issues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with a wide range of HVAC equipment and diagnostic techniques

- Niagara AX
- Niagara N4
- Experience supporting commercial or industrial HVAC environments
- Strong customer facing communication skills
