Project Execution & Field Support

  • Support system startup, commissioning, and functional testing activities
  • Validate system performance against design intent and customer requirements
  • Provide technical guidance to field technicians, electricians, and contractors
  • Assist in resolving field issues using sound engineering judgment
  • Support projects from engineering through final closeout

Collaboration & Communication

  • 3–5+ years of experience in building automation, controls, HVAC, or a related technical field
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing BAS/DDC systems
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems including RTUs, VAV systems, and air handling units
  • Working knowledge of BAS platforms (e.g., Niagara, EcoStruxure, or similar)
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus
  • Experience troubleshooting and optimizing system performance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Visio
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Experience with chilled water systems and boiler plants
  • Experience with system integrations such as lighting controls, access control, and IP-based systems
  • Knowledge of energy management and system optimization practices

Who This Role Is For

  • An engineer who enjoys both technical design and hands-on system development
  • A self-starter capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with teams
  • A professional who values precision, reliability, and high-quality system performance
  • Someone interested in working across the full lifecycle of building automation projects
