Role Overview
The Building Automation Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects that meet customer expectations, maintain schedule integrity, and uphold Enviromatic’s standard of excellence. This role requires strong coordination, technical understanding of HVAC controls, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning to turnover.

Full-Time Duties Included But Not Limited To

  • Ensuring satisfaction of both external and internal customers
  • Coordinating project activities with customers, subcontractors, and internal team members
  • Understanding, interpreting, and reviewing control drawings
  • Attending job-site progress meetings and representing the project professionally
  • Managing multiple projects to successful completion and customer satisfaction
  • Ordering materials and ensuring timely delivery to the job site
  • Preparing and submitting progress billings
  • Managing electrical installation subcontractors
  • Creating and maintaining construction schedules
  • Verifying job checkout is complete and accurate
  • Supporting test & balance commissioning and troubleshooting activities
  • Turning completed projects over to the warranty service department

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Experience interpreting and applying MEP plans
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Expertise in time management

  • Strong self-management skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Previous project management experience within BAS/DDC or commercial HVAC industries preferred
  • Familiarity with DDC controls, sequences of operation, or commissioning preferred
  • Experience working with subcontractors and construction project workflows
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or project management software
