Job Title: Building Automation Project Manager – MEP / Data Center

About the Role
This Project Manager role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast?paced, technically complex environments. You will oversee construction-driven MEP and/or data center projects from planning through closeout, ensuring on-time, high?quality delivery. This position requires a strong foundation in field construction and the ability to manage diverse project stakeholders while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple MEP and/or data center construction projects from kickoff through completion (required)
- Coordinate closely with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met (required)
- Oversee daily/weekly scheduling, manpower planning, and job progress tracking (required)
- Lead project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and change order management (required)
- Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and compliance across all job sites (required)
- Serve as the primary client contact, providing updates, addressing challenges, and strengthening relationships (required)
- Support development of construction workflows, project documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives (preferred)
Required Qualifications
- Construction/field experience in any MEP trade
- 1–5 years of experience as a Project Manager with data center project experience
- OR 5–10 years as a Project Manager without data center experience
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, project coordination, and technical interfaces
- Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and client communication independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on data center construction experience
- Experience managing fast?paced commercial, industrial, or mission?critical builds
- Background as a field technician (mechanical, controls, or electrical) before moving into PM work
