Overview
We are hiring a Project Manager to lead high-complexity, design-build commercial HVAC construction projects. This role is critical to supporting the company’s rapid growth and ability to deliver increasingly large and technically sophisticated work. Projects typically range from early seven figures to high seven figures in total value, requiring a true construction professional with strong technical and organizational expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of large-scale commercial HVAC design-build projects
- Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, field operations, and subcontractors
- Oversee budgets, schedules, risk management, and change orders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ensure projects meet technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Support continuous improvement as the company expands into larger and more complex projects
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing commercial HVAC construction projects
- Background in design-build construction delivery
- Ability to manage projects valued in the seven-figure range
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction documentation, and project controls
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams on complex construction efforts
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience on large, multi-phase commercial or industrial construction projects
- Prior experience with an engineering firm or design-build contractor
- Exposure to higher-complexity projects as part of a growing construction organization
