Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing mechanical projects in alignment with defined schedules, budgets, and quality expectations. This includes managing project resources, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring contractual compliance, and driving successful delivery from project launch through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract compliance and administration
- Project planning, scheduling, and timeline management
- Purchasing, expediting, and vendor coordination
- Managing and documenting changes in work
- Strengthening and maintaining trade partner relationships
- Monitoring productivity and workforce performance
- Cash flow tracking and financial oversight
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting
- Loss prevention and risk management
- Overseeing project closeout and final acceptance
- Meeting or exceeding target job profit
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within construction
- HVAC or mechanical industry experience
- Experience managing commercial or industrial mechanical projects
