Position Summary
The Service Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving service-related revenue growth by developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and delivering a high level of customer service. This role combines consultative selling, technical understanding, and relationship management to help customers optimize their HVAC service solutions while supporting broader organizational growth objectives.

This position is well suited for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a relationship-driven, technical sales environment and is focused on long-term account development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify market potential by researching and evaluating prospective and existing accounts

  • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments, conducting introductory meetings, and understanding customer requirements

  • Close sales by building rapport, clearly communicating service and product capabilities, addressing objections, and preparing contracts

  • Expand revenue within existing accounts by introducing additional services, solutions, and applications

  • Contribute to market and sales strategy by monitoring competitor offerings and customer feedback

  • Recommend new products and service opportunities by evaluating performance results and identifying unmet customer needs

  • Maintain current knowledge of products, services, and industry trends through ongoing training and education

  • Support marketing and organizational objectives by completing related tasks and initiatives as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in the HVAC, construction, or service industry

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close sales

  • Effective presentation and negotiation skills

  • Strong planning, organization, and territory management capabilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling HVAC service agreements, maintenance programs, or retrofit solutions

  • Familiarity with commercial HVAC systems and service operations

  • Experience managing long-term B2B customer accounts

  • Experience using CRM tools to manage pipelines and forecasting
