Position Summary
The HVAC Service Sales Representative is responsible for generating qualified commercial and industrial HVAC preventive maintenance opportunities within an assigned territory. This role focuses on new business development, leveraging high-volume prospecting through phone, email, social media, referrals, and professional organizations.
This is a high-impact, front-end sales role ideal for a motivated B2B sales professional who thrives on relationship building, consultative conversations, and consistently creating new opportunities for the sales organization. Success in this role directly contributes to pipeline growth and long-term service revenue.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Generate qualified commercial and industrial HVAC service leads through proactive prospecting, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, referrals, industry affiliations, and targeted marketing initiatives

Identify, research, and initiate contact with decision-makers at prospective customer organizations

Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting activity to qualify opportunities via phone, email, and social channels

Schedule discovery meetings, site assessments, and qualified opportunities for Sales Representatives to further develop and close

Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Representatives to develop territory-specific prospecting strategies

Conduct needs qualification calls with assigned prospects to assess service requirements and partnership potential

Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity goals, including calls made, contacts reached, qualified leads set, and marketing outreach completed

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all activity, lead status, and campaign effectiveness within the CRM system

Coordinate prospecting efforts and account handoffs with assigned Sales Representatives to ensure a seamless customer experience
Required Qualifications

Proven success in commercial or industrial B2B sales, inside sales, or business development

Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage decision-makers

Experience working with CRM systems to track activity, leads, and performance metrics
