Key Responsibilities:

- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and local market engagement.
- Sell a full range of building automation solutions, including service agreements, retrofit upgrades, and systems for new construction projects.
- Partner with internal engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure accurate proposals and seamless project execution.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, conduct site walks, and lead sales presentations tailored to client needs.
- Track opportunities, maintain pipeline activity, and forecast revenue using CRM tools.
- Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in building automation and smart building systems.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales experience in building automation, HVAC controls, energy solutions, or related technical industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills—both with customers and internal teams.
- Technical aptitude to understand and communicate building systems, energy savings, and automation concepts.
- Familiarity with project sales cycles including design/spec, design/build, and negotiated projects.
- Self-starter mindset with a strong drive for results and a commitment to customer success.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
