Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Controls Sales Account Manager to join our team in St. Louis, MO. This role is responsible for developing long-term relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing comprehensive building automation and HVAC controls solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships within assigned accounts.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial HVAC controls market.

  • Prepare and present proposals for system upgrades, retrofits, service contracts, and energy solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and customer retention.

  • Interface with multiple stakeholders including Facility Managers, Project Engineers, Purchasing, and Executive decision-makers.

  • Provide accurate business reports, forecasts, and regular updates on account status.

  • Secure renewals of service contracts and identify opportunities for expanded services.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in commercial HVAC Controls or Building Automation Systems.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and close business in a technical or construction-related field.

  • Strong understanding of PCs, networks, databases, and operating systems.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
