Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Controls Sales Account Manager to join our team in St. Louis, MO. This role is responsible for developing long-term relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing comprehensive building automation and HVAC controls solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships within assigned accounts.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial HVAC controls market.

Prepare and present proposals for system upgrades, retrofits, service contracts, and energy solutions.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and customer retention.

Interface with multiple stakeholders including Facility Managers, Project Engineers, Purchasing, and Executive decision-makers.

Provide accurate business reports, forecasts, and regular updates on account status.

Secure renewals of service contracts and identify opportunities for expanded services.
Qualifications & Requirements

3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in commercial HVAC Controls or Building Automation Systems.

Proven ability to build relationships and close business in a technical or construction-related field.

Strong understanding of PCs, networks, databases, and operating systems.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
