Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience to join our growing team. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with proven experience using Microsoft Visio to create accurate system design drawings. The Design Engineer will play a key role in system layout, equipment selection, and procurement, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Design building automation system (BAS) drawings and schematics using Microsoft Visio.

Select, specify, and size system components, controllers, and field devices based on project requirements.

Prepare and issue accurate bills of material (BOM) and equipment orders.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Review project documents, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with customer and company standards.

Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases as needed.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in building automation system design or a related field.

Strong knowledge of BAS equipment, control strategies, and industry standards.

Ability to select and order appropriate equipment based on design and project needs.
