Key Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Estimator, you will:

• Prepare accurate electrical construction cost estimates and written proposals.

• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, civil, and architectural drawings.

• Perform detailed electrical take-offs and assist with bid preparation and delivery.

• Attend pre-bid meetings and assess job site conditions when required.

• Work closely with the preconstruction manager to develop bid strategies.

• Maintain contact with clients and gather competitive pricing and market data.

• Ensure use of the most current project drawings and documentation.

• Participate in internal and external project meetings and continuing education.

• Assist in evaluating contract scope, exclusions, and clarifications.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.

• 6+ years of field experience in electrical construction or 2+ years of estimating experience.

• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

• Proficiency in construction estimating software (Trimble Enterprise is a plus).

• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Confidence, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
