The Building Automation Engineer will design and/or program a complete Building Automation System including integration to other control sub-systems to meet the intent of the project requirements. This includes providing detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, subcontractors, and the field installation team.

Design and configure technically complex Building Automation Systems as defined by the contract documents

Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts, and electrical schematics as required

Select material including DDC modules, field sensing, and control devices, dampers and valves to meet the project requirements, specifications, codes and customer standards

Program DDC modules to meet exact sequence of operations

Program and configure integration between multiple vendors using open and proprietary software
