Description:
The Project Manager will be directly responsible for project planning, staging, scheduling, and budgeting of concurrent projects. This individual will work to ensure that the scope of assigned projects is completed on schedule and within budget. The Project Manager can expect to work closely with Business Development to understand customer goals and challenges for each assigned project.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan project installations
  • Prepare for project installations
  • Proceed to execute projects, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Generate RFIs to clarify project specific questions/ concerns
  • Seek change order opportunities for project related expectations that appear to be outside of the proposed scope of work
  • Seek outside technical support as necessary to ensure complete and accurate engineered drawings
  • Handle customer technical support as needed
  • Work with the project engineering/ management team to maintain quality control, monitor job pace, manpower, and materials
  • Provide job specific answers to job related questions
  • Review job cost reports and properly align manpower with cashflow
  • Assist project engineering/ management team by providing solid input and job progress knowledge for monthly billing
  • Identify, estimate, and propose project change orders
  • Liaise between field and shop to enhance overall communication
  • Provide technical support for field personnel as necessary
  • Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to project completion
  • Communicate with management to ensure project closeout
  • Following job completion, submit business development suggestions for further potential opportunities
  • Maintain positive cashflow and profitability on all jobs
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Project Manual
  • Travel may be required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience related to building automation and control system projects
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
