BAS Regional Division Manager – Miami Florida

Job Title: Building Automation Regional Division Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Division Manager to lead and manage our Building Automation Systems (BAS) operations across south Florida. This role is responsible for overseeing project delivery, customer satisfaction, team development, and financial performance. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in BAS, HVAC controls, or systems integration, along with proven leadership skills and a passion for innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement regional strategies to support company growth and profitability targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of project managers, engineers, technicians, and sales professionals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure successful execution of BAS projects from design to commissioning.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including revenue, gross margin, backlog, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage resource allocation, workload balancing, and project prioritization across the region.

Customer & Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as the regional point of contact for key clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve escalated issues related to project execution, service delivery, and contractual matters.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and professional associations.

Business Development & Sales Support

  • Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to identify opportunities and secure new projects.
  • Provide strategic input during the bidding process and review of project scopes and estimates.
  • Support pre-sales engineering efforts and client presentations as a technical expert.

Financial & Compliance Management

  • Develop and manage regional budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Drive cost efficiency and profitability while maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong understanding of BAS platforms (e.g., Tridium, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing diverse teams and complex projects.
  • PMP, PE, or LEED certification is a plus.
