Position Overview
As the Building Automation Sales Manager, you will drive our growth by identifying and securing new business across multiple markets, nurturing strong relationships with national accounts, and promoting advanced building automation and energy solutions. You’ll lead sales strategy, collaborate with technical teams, and champion our mission of smarter, safer, more sustainable buildings.
Key Responsibilities

Lead business development efforts for building automation systems (BAS), energy management, security/life safety, building analytics, and LEED/sustainability solutions.

Develop and execute sales strategies targeting facility owners, developers, property managers, and general contractors.

Serve as the primary liaison with Schneider Electric and other key partners to deliver integrated automation offerings like SmartStruxure, Power Manager, and Continuum.

Drive new accounts, manage the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting to proposal, negotiation, and close.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure seamless project delivery and exceptional customer experience.

Provide technical sales expertise on solutions including HVAC integration, power monitoring, building analytics, and multi-system control.

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to sharpen our competitive edge.

Mentor and potentially build a regional sales team; deliver sales forecasts and performance reporting.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering (mechanical, electrical), or related field preferred.

Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in building automation, HVAC controls, building systems integration, or related technical solutions.

Proven track record of managing technical sales cycles and achieving revenue targets, ideally in integration or systems solutions.

Strong understanding of BAS, smart building technologies, energy management, and system analytics.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Experience with Schneider Electric platforms
