Job Title: HVAC Controls Technician/Programmer
Location: Cleveland / Akron, OH
Employment Type: Full-time (overtime available)
What You’ll Do

Perform start-up and commissioning of HVAC control systems per project plans and specifications

Analyze building control and HVAC system performance to ensure efficiency and reliability

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and control system issues

Build, wire, and program control panels as required

Review documentation, drawings, and field notes for accuracy and completeness

Provide technical and project engineering support as needed
-
Train owners, operators, and peers on system functionality
-
Support the Service Department with control-related troubleshooting calls
Skills & Abilities
-
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
-
Solid understanding of DDC control theory and applications
-
Working knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and HVAC systems
-
Computer programming and networking familiarity
- Ability to program from scratch

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Qualifications
-
Minimum 2+ years of field experience (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred)

Proven experience with HVAC and/or mechanical systems
-
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise
-
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
