Key Responsibilities:

Design and engineer Building Automation Systems (BAS) for HVAC, lighting, and integrated building systems using platforms such as Tridium, Honeywell, Alerton, or Siemens.

Develop control system architecture, including control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and sequence of operations.

Use software tools like AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio to create technical documentation and schematics.

Program and configure DDC controllers, sensors, and interface devices to meet project specifications and energy efficiency goals.

Collaborate with project managers, sales engineers, and field technicians to ensure system functionality from design through commissioning.

Provide technical support during installation, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases.

Ensure all control system designs comply with relevant codes, safety standards, and ASHRAE guidelines.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal engineering standards and best practices.

Partner with cross-functional teams to create high-performance, energy-efficient building automation solutions.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of experience in building automation system design and controls programming.

Proficiency with BAS platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, Siemens, or Alerton is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, control theory, energy management, and DDC systems.

Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, and building automation programming tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Familiarity with energy-efficient building practices and green building certifications (LEED, WELL, etc.) is a plus.
