Position Summary:

We are seeking a driven and experienced HVAC Account Executive to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a seasoned HVAC professional with a proven track record in project sales, client relationship management, and estimating/pricing their own work.

The account executive will be handed an existing book of business and will be responsible for maintaining, growing, and developing long-term relationships with key clients in the commercial and industrial HVAC market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of HVAC customers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand company market share in the region.

  • Estimate, price, and prepare proposals for HVAC retrofit, replacement, and service projects.

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure successful project execution.

  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and client meetings to assess project needs and propose tailored HVAC solutions.

  • Maintain a solid understanding of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity.

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and profitability targets.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and the company throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC project sales (retrofit, design-build, or plan-and-spec).

  • Proven ability to price and estimate HVAC projects independently.

  • Strong existing relationships within the local HVAC and building owner community — established network required.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong drive to build and maintain long-term client partnerships.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar).

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client visits.
