Overview

The HVAC Sales Account Manager is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and driving revenue growth through the sale of commercial HVAC systems, service agreements, and retrofit solutions. This position plays a key role in identifying market opportunities, generating qualified leads, managing the full sales cycle, and recommending new products and services to meet client needs. The role reports directly to the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional, customer-focused service while promoting the company’s “One Team, One Goal” culture.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales initiatives.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitive activity in the commercial HVAC market.

  • Identify market potential by qualifying new accounts and expanding existing relationships.

  • Manage the full HVAC sales process — from prospecting and scheduling appointments to conducting sales presentations and understanding customer requirements.

  • Close sales by building rapport, explaining system capabilities, overcoming objections, and preparing proposals and contracts.

  • Grow revenue within existing accounts by introducing HVAC retrofit projects, maintenance contracts, and energy-efficient upgrades.

  • Provide market feedback and insights to improve overall sales and marketing strategies.

  • Recommend new HVAC products, services, and technologies by evaluating current offerings and identifying gaps or customer needs.

  • Stay current on HVAC systems, heating and cooling technologies, and energy efficiency trends through ongoing professional development.

  • Contribute to the company’s overall mission by achieving assigned sales goals and supporting organizational initiatives.
