Job Title: HVAC/Building Automation Service Account Manager
This role is responsible for managing and growing relationships with commercial and industrial clients, focusing on HVAC services and Building Automation System (BAS) solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical systems and automation technologies and is motivated by delivering customized solutions that improve building performance, energy efficiency, and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and new clients.

Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.

Conduct regular site visits, system assessments, and performance reviews.

Sales & Business Development:

Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and actively pursue new customer acquisition.

Promote and sell HVAC services, preventive maintenance contracts, retrofits, and BAS solutions (e.g., Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens, etc.).

Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and ROI-driven solutions tailored to customer needs.

Project Coordination:

Collaborate with internal teams including service, engineering, and operations to ensure successful project delivery.

Track project progress and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.

Monitor account performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Technical Expertise:

Stay up-to-date on the latest HVAC and BAS technologies, trends, and industry standards.

Provide clients with insight into building performance analytics and energy optimization strategies.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in HVAC, Building Automation, or related technical sales/account management.

Knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems and building automation platforms (e.g., Niagara, DDC, Tridium, Honeywell, Siemens).

Proven track record of sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred).
