About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a non-union position focused on overseeing design-build and plan-and-spec HVAC projects from pre-construction through completion. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of project management experience in the HVAC industry and a background in ductwork or piping systems. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as you will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of HVAC design-build and plan-and-spec projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion.

• Review project plans, specifications, and mechanical drawings to develop accurate scopes of work.

• Oversee installation of ductwork, piping, and mechanical systems, ensuring quality and compliance with project requirements.

• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to resolve design or field issues.

• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and progress reports.

• Procure equipment and materials, and manage subcontractor performance.

• Ensure all safety protocols and company standards are maintained on job sites.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HVAC project management experience (non-union environment preferred).

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and mechanical installations.

• Experience in design-build and plan-and-spec projects.

• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required).
