Position Overview
We seek a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our in-house mechanical systems design and engineering team. The role involves end-to-end HVAC system design—from load calculations to BIM coordination—and close collaboration across project disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage HVAC projects from pre-construction through completion.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work scopes.

  • Collaborate with HVAC engineers, estimators, subcontractors, and vendors.

  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and client requirements.

  • Conduct job site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and safety compliance.

  • Manage procurement of HVAC materials, equipment, and labor resources.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to clients and stakeholders.

  • Resolve project issues quickly and effectively to minimize delays or cost overruns.

  • Maintain project documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC project management, mechanical contracting, or construction management.

  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration).

  • Proven experience managing multiple HVAC installation or retrofit projects.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Buildertrend).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

  • PMP or OSHA 30 Certification is a plus.
