Position Overview
We seek a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our in-house mechanical systems design and engineering team. The role involves end-to-end HVAC system design—from load calculations to BIM coordination—and close collaboration across project disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and manage HVAC projects from pre-construction through completion.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work scopes.

Collaborate with HVAC engineers, estimators, subcontractors, and vendors.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and client requirements.

Conduct job site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and safety compliance.

Manage procurement of HVAC materials, equipment, and labor resources.

Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to clients and stakeholders.

Resolve project issues quickly and effectively to minimize delays or cost overruns.

Maintain project documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in HVAC project management, mechanical contracting, or construction management.

In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration).

Proven experience managing multiple HVAC installation or retrofit projects.

Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Buildertrend).

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

PMP or OSHA 30 Certification is a plus.
