Job Title: Project Manager – Mechanical Construction

Role Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate mechanical construction projects in the Houston area. This role involves oversight of project budgets, schedules, scope changes, subcontractors, and client communication to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of mechanical/MEP construction projects, ensuring quality delivery
- Monitor and control project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
- Track and process scope changes and update the project scope and schedule accordingly
- Prepare and submit monthly contract billings and ensure healthy cash flow
- Conduct pre-job planning meetings, document outcomes, and ensure timely completion of action items
- Develop and maintain project-specific and master schedules
- Execute subcontracts, materials procurement, and equipment buyouts in alignment with project goals
- Interface regularly with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to address project issues
- Visit job sites to oversee work progress, inspect quality, and resolve contract or field issues
- Lead conflict resolution among vendors, trades, or internal teams
- Identify opportunities to improve project execution processes and contribute to company best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (required)
- 2–5 years of experience in project management, preferably in mechanical, HVAC, or MEP construction
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
- Skilled at problem-solving and working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management software is a plus (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project)
