We are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Director to lead our manufacturer engagement efforts, develop product strategies, and identify new business opportunities. This is a high-impact role responsible for driving growth through manufacturer alignment and market expansion.

Position Summary

The Sales Director serves as a key liaison between us and our HVAC equipment manufacturers. You will be responsible for developing strategic relationships, recommending the right product alignments, and staying ahead of market trends. Your ability to drive manufacturer partnerships and identify sales opportunities will directly support our growth and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen relationships with key HVAC manufacturers

  • Recommend optimal manufacturer alignments based on product offerings, market demand, and our goals

  • Analyze sales performance and market conditions to identify areas for growth

  • Serve as the local point of contact for visiting manufacturer representatives

  • Evaluate product lines to understand competitive advantages across our line card

  • Identify and pursue new business through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach

  • Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing manufacturer partners

  • Resolve manufacturer concerns promptly and effectively

  • Stay current on HVAC industry trends, innovations, and competitor activity

  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to align sales and product strategy

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC equipment sales

  • Proven track record managing HVAC manufacturer relationships

Skills & Abilities:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels

  • Sound mathematical and analytical capabilities

  • Ability to solve practical problems and provide data-driven solutions

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional presence when interacting with internal teams and external partners

  • Ability to think strategically and implement tactical plans

  • Willingness to travel as needed

Work Schedule & Environment

  • Standard schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

  • Some travel required for manufacturer meetings and industry events

  • Office-based role with moderate noise level

  • Frequent use of computers and prolonged desk work

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 10 lbs, occasionally up to 25 lbs, and rarely up to 50 lbs

  • Frequent sitting, data entry, and use of a computer

  • Occasional bending, reaching, twisting, and squatting
