Job Title: HVAC Service Branch Manager

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Branch Manager to lead and grow our service operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily branch activities, managing service teams, driving profitability, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence in all aspects of HVAC service delivery.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a strong technical background in HVAC systems, proven management experience, and the ability to foster a high-performing culture focused on safety, customer service, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Operations

  • Oversee daily branch operations, including service, dispatch, administration, and customer relations.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop service technicians, dispatchers, and support staff.

  • Ensure branch operations meet company standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

  • Manage scheduling, work order distribution, and job completion tracking.

  • Financial Management

  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance goals.

  • Drive branch profitability by monitoring labor utilization, margins, and expenses.

  • Review and approve invoices, timecards, and purchase orders.

  • Sales & Customer Relations

  • Maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for service agreement growth and add-on sales.

  • Partner with sales teams to support business development initiatives and project handoffs.

  • Technical Oversight

  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field personnel.

  • Ensure compliance with all HVAC codes, safety regulations, and company policies.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC technologies and service best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of progressive HVAC service experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.

    • Strong understanding of HVAC systems (commercial and/or industrial preferred).

    • Proven track record of managing teams and achieving operational and financial goals.

    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    • Proficiency with service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Jonas, or similar).

    • EPA certification and HVAC licensing preferred.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
