Position Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Service Project Manager to lead mechanical service and construction projects in the Austin area. This role requires someone with a strong background in construction project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion—on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical service projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Ensure quality, budget adherence, and timely project delivery
  • Conduct client meetings to establish and document project requirements
  • Review specifications, submittals, and contracts to develop effective project plans
  • Create, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules and milestones
  • Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and subcontractor coordination
  • Oversee subcontractor agreements and equipment procurement
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports and cost tracking metrics
  • Conduct pre-job planning and job site visits to inspect work and monitor progress
  • Submit monthly billing and ensure proper cash flow throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to continuous development
  • Resolve conflicts with vendors, trades, or clients in a professional manner
  • Maintain and update the project Warranty Log and other documentation

Qualifications:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent field or project management experience will be considered

Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, preferably within mechanical or facility services

  • Excellent project planning and organizational skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities
  • Demonstrated initiative and proactive problem-solving approach
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams at all levels
  • Comfortable with fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
