Position Summary
We are hiring an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee a $20 million high-rise construction project in Charlotte, NC. This is a two-year assignment starting in February, with potential for permanent placement in Charlotte or relocation to Chicago or Nashville.
Key Responsibilities
- Required:
- Manage all phases of mechanical contracting for a 40-story mixed-use high-rise (office and residential).
- Coordinate piping and sheet metal work, including subcontractor management.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and resources for up to 20 field workers.
- Maintain project schedule and budget compliance.
- Collaborate remotely with engineers, BIM operators, and other project managers.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Minimum 5+ years experience as a Project Manager with a mechanical contractor.
- Proven success managing large-scale projects involving piping and sheet metal.
- Knowledge of central systems (e.g., chillers) for high-rise buildings.
